I have checked all Yell Co Arkansas cemetey transcriptions that are lised online and none have a George W Craig listed. It would have to be in a cemetery not transcribed or as you said in an unmarked grave. However I have found all of Mr Potts info to be correct to date. In an email from him April 2005 he tells me that the Craig information was researched by William Bruce Craig. Mr Craig was born and raised in Rochester New York. He states Mr Craig is an excellant researcher who travels the country finding records, cemettery info, family records. He also states that Mr Craigs research seems to be very reliable. In Mr Craigs info he also shows that Mary (Craig) McCune died in Arkansas but was also buried in The Franklin Cemetery in Williamson Co Tennessee. It could be possible that some of the family members, maybe even George did live in Tennessee at some point and wanted to be buried there or they could have been visiting here and were taken back home to be buried....lots of if. Of course this is just theory. In the same info some of the different family members died in one place but were buried in a different state, many in Ohio. By the way I did some searching in Tennessee and did find some Craigs there, even a George W Craig, however I cannot say if it was our George or any of his family at this time I havent had time to really dig into it.
