I am researching the Crow line in the Arkansas/Missouri area during the mid-late 1800's. I found a 1893 Missouri marriage license for Rosa Caldwell (born abt. 1880 in Arkansas) and John D. Crow (born in Arkansas sometime before 1872 because he is listed as over 21 on the license). This is the only definitive information I have been able to find on John D. Crow. I know that Rosa shows up again in the 1910 Census as a widow with the name of Rosa Killion and 3 children named Willie W. Crow, Edna Killion, and Alta Killion. Then in the 1920 Census she shows up living in Joplin as Rosie Ewers married to Frank Ewers, with her 4 children (Willie W. Crow, Edna Killion, Alta Killion, and James Ewers) and her father Willis Caldwell. I am interested in ANY information as to who John D. Crow was and where he was before and after his marriage to Rosa.
