Recently there was a picture in the paper of women working in the Tuf-Nut factory making men's work clothes. The women were wearing uniforms. Although the picture had a date of 1947, the women did not wear uniforms there in 1947. Does anyone out there remember uniforms? My mother worked there many years beginning about 1947 or 48, but she never wore a uniform.
Anyone else with Tuf-Nut stories I would like to hear.
