Hello - I recently found some paperwork in an antique store regarding payment from Montana Mines Company to P.M. Clarke, Dr. who owned a general merchandise store. The paperwork includes a list of purchases for the Montana Mines Co. on June 30, 1917 and payment on July 17, 1917. The store appeared to be in Ruby, Arizona and the mine may have been in Calabasas (?). There is also a cancelled check and receipt to P.M. Clarke from the mine with a difficult to read signature, but may be RA Hardy. I'd be happy to copy and send this to anyone researching this old ghost town, mining company, or related families.
