ROBERT J. FLANAGAN
Robert J. Flanagan, 79, of Florence died July 6, 2000 in Florence.
Memorial Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Assumption Catholic Church by the Rev. Charles Cloud.
Mr. Flanagan was born Oct. 3, 1920 in Albi, Neb. He was an Army veteran and a counselor at Arizona State Prison before retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J.; three daughters, Elizabeth Flanagan of South Dakota, Michelle Flanagan of Yoorhis, Nev., and Pat Scott of Macal [McCall], Idaho; three stepdaughters, Tammy Gurlock, Sherri Paulson and Brenda Smith, all of Florence; two stepsons, Bernard and Rick Lewis of Florence; two brothers, Tom Flanagan of Cozad, Neb., and William Flanagan of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; and 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Flanagan, and three brothers, John, Ray and Dawayne Flanagan.
