I am searching for the location of the burial of my grandmother's brother, Marvin Franklin Jones. He died on 1 April 1973 in Coolidge, Arizona. How can I find out what cemetery he is buried in?

The cemetery would be Valley Memorial Park and he is not listed in the cemetery as of yet but there are about 20 Jones listed at http://arizonagravestones.org for the Coolidge and Casa Grande areas.

Thank you for inquiring. Yes, I did find the cemetery but only after I had returned to Texas. He is buried in Valley Memorial Park, section D, block 6, lot 2, space 2. I did go to that cemetery in January and my son and I walked two sections before having to leave due to the rain. I got the information on the burial site from Simes Mortuaries in Coolidge. They were very pleasant and helpful. Hopefully I will be in that area again some day and be able to visit the gravesite.

Glad to hear that you were able to find the grave site you were searcing for. Don't know that I'd have been able to have located it, but I'd have tried. I know what it's like to be many miles away from an area where an ancestor is buried and completely understood your plight.
