GLENDALE -- Joveta Carroll Langford Jensen, 67, of Glendale died Sept. 3, 2000 after a long illness.

Visitation was from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Best Funeral Chapel, 9380 W. Peoria Ave. in Peoria. Family visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12951 N. 83rd Ave. in Peoria. The memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment in Valley Memorial Park near Coolidge will be at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Ms. Jensen was born Sept. 7, 1932 in Gilmer, Texas, to John and Rhoda Langford. The family moved to Coolidge in 1939. She was a social worker for the state for 15 years and served as president of Arizona Public Employees Association. She was devoted to her family and known for her smile.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Cremieux and Patty Brady of Glendale and Debbie Duhamell of Los Angeles; two sons, George Richards of Mesa and Jim Richards of Tucson; two sisters, Johnnie Bonner of Glendale and Esma Steed of Orem, Utah; two brothers, George Langford of Grants Pass, Ore., and Gordon Langford of Peoria; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Maurine Skrla.
