This is probably way too late to do you any good, but here's what I learned from teh County Clerk's Office:

1. Cochise County isn't among the cheapest counties in the country. They charge $18 for a search, and $.50 per historical document copy. Certified copies are more.
2. Each name and/or event is a search.
3. Send secured funds only. They take no personal checks -- only cashiers, certified checks, or money orders.
4. And they need an SASE for mailing the documents back to you.

I've found some good stuff on the "mycochise" website, but have been most unlucky in searching the marriage records; but their search engine was really helpful in pulling out what was there on my surnames.

Hope this helps you or someone along the way.
