Looking for information on Charles H. Calhoun; listed on 1920 census and 1930 census for Nenana; 1930 census says occupation is Trapper and that he is married but no details about wife's name or if there are children.

It looks like Charles H. Calhoun died 31 May 1940 and is buried in Birch Hill Cemetery in Fairbanks, Alaska. I will try and get to the library in the next week or so to look for his obit.

I finally was able to spend some time in the library and I found three articles/mentions in the newspaper about the death and funeral of Charles H. Calhoun. Unfortunately, none of them mention his widow's name, just that she is in Tacoma, Wash. along with other surviving relatives.

The articles do state that he is a Pioneer of Alaska, Fairbanks Igloo. You may want to contact them for a copy of his application.
