My great grandparents were Andrew and Effie Kokrine. Effie: b March 23,1919 d November 12, 2001. Andrew b & d I am not quite sure. Together they had 11 children. 3 of whom did not make it passed childhood. There are many decendants of the Kokrine family living in Fairbanks

I have Andrew J. Kokrine, Jr., husband of Effie Marion Folger born 6 Nov 1911 and died Aug 1978. Andrew was the grandson of Gregory Kokrine, Yukon River trader and my great grandfather.

My husband has many items from the Christoffers estate in Seattle. I've tried to find more info tied to these items and this family. History has truly been coming alive!
I found your posts while searching for more information on H. J. Christoffers and Gordon Bettles who were good friends and eventually brothers in law.
Bettles and his wife, Sopie Kokrine are in a few of the photos we have, along with photos of Christoffers and his wife, Elsie Kokrine. Your posts and the responses to them have been helpful for us to put a history to the photos and other items we have from the estate. Thank you.
Harry and Elsie had a son, Harry , Jr. who married Mellie. They had a son, Henry who still lives in Seattle.
John believes Henry, now in his fifties, apparently never married. I have a bit more info you may want.

I noticed that you your last name of Oversve, is one of my family names that I am researching.

I am lookin for Rolf George Oversvee, whose father was Nels Oversvee from Lake County, Two Harbors, MN. Rolf G. passed away in 1998 in Everette WA, I believe his wifes name is Jan or Janet.

There are also Christofferson's from Fergus Falls, MN
