I looked in the Fairbanks Daily-News Miner from 26 November 1976 through 2 December 1976 and did not find an obituary for Ralph Mattei

Thank you for checking. I have very little to go on and am not even sure where my cousin may be buried or in which town he died. I jave only the information provided by the certificate of death I was able to get a copy of.

I will keep looking for more information and hoping I can at some point make it to the area myself to try and look personally.

www.deltanewsweb.com is the local website. You might be able to ask the webmaster to pass your request around. The local paper is known as the Delta Wind and Loretta Schooley is the editor. If you mail your request to Delta Wind, PO Box 986, Delta Jct., AK 99737-0986 she might put it in the paper. This webpage also has a webforum that you can post messages on.

Looking for someone in the Delta Junction area who could possibly do some research in the cemetaries. I am looking for the grave of a cousin named Ralph Mattei and also if anyone can locate an obituary for him.

We know there were services help in Fairbanks and that he received the Sacrament of the dead in the church of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Fairbanks. He died on November 25, 1976. I have a copy of the Sacrament of Funeral.

Would also welcome any family members who would like to share family tree information.

I should have added that Ralph was apparently born sometime in 1922.

I am looking for census information regarding a cousin named Ralph A. Mattei believed to have lived in the Delta Juntion area. He died on November 21, 1976 and recieved teh sacrement of the dead at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Fairbanks. It is believed he lived for many years in the Delta area with his family.

Also, if you know of anyone in the Delta Junction area who may be able to do a cemetary lookup for me please let me know.
