Hello Roger, I see this was posted in 2001, but the information in it is not correct. Percy H. Blatchford was born in 1885 in Cornwall and he died in 1961 in Seward, Alaska. He was the son of William Tucker Blatchford, and also the brother of William Blatchford. He wasn't in world War 2, he was quite old by that time. He had a brother named Tom Blatchford who moved to BC but he died in the early to mid '50s. I just asked my mom these questions because Percy was her dad. We don't know who Nancy Ada Corey is. I was glad to read your post, I'm sorry I'm late with the answer!

my Mother is a relative of Percy, her Father Oliver (D) and Aunt Eleanor (Anora) (D). My mother has told me some things about her family from Alaska as her other Aunt recently passed.
