Thank you for that information. Yes it is very hard to find anything after the last child was born. My grandfather is Ernest Lamphere born in the 30's. The only reference I found that coincided with the word of mouth that I heard was Hyland's father's obituary in 1966.

This is my first brick wall and it is very frustrating.
