I'm trying to locate information on my daughter's half brother- the son of Sgt Robert Frank Dragoo, U.S. Army (Regular), who was stationed in the Aleutian Islands during the second World War. My daughter would like to correspond with him.

Robert and I were married after he returned to the states (1944) and the child was born sometime prior to that. Robert told me that the mother's name was "Nadjah Burstoff" (spelling off!) and that she was part Aleut Indian and part Russian. Since they were not married, the son may be using his mother's name. Robert died over 30 years ago.
