James E Harrison was born in Montgomery County in 1822, son of Paschal & Elizabeth Phillips Harrison! He married Fanny Grimes in 1844 & had at least 2 Children in Coffee County prior to her death in 1849! 1860 Clarke County has James with 2 pre 1850 born Children (John & Mary E.) & 4 others!
Fredonia 7, James 6, & Delilah 4 were born in Butler County while Sarah 2 was born in Clarke County! I am looking for the woman that married James in about 1852 (Probably Martha)! James married Mary Mooore in 1861 & had 2 more children...Edmond 1862 & Mary 1866! He maried Nancy Smith in 1869, but they had no children! James died 1914 in Monroe County & is burried beside Nancy Smith! He served in 4th Al CSA & was cited for capturing 23 Yankees single handedly! Any help with identifying Martha ? Harrison in the 1860 Clarke Census would be most helpful!
