I have hit a wall in my research. I need to find the father of John C Davis (born 1859-1860, Alabama), Wellington Davis (twin), and Lucy Davis (born 1848, Alabama). Their mother's name is Caroline A Wilken (born 1828, New Jersey).

The only information I have of their father is from a few census that list either Massachusetts or Connecticut as the possible place of birth.

I have been searching on Ancestry.com for over a year and have yet to turn up anything.
