I recently posted this on a forum for anybody that can help.
I am looking for my father's father deceased or still living:
PLEASE SEARCH YOUR RECORDS/FILES.

Hi this message is for anybody who may know any thing about any Sears family living in or around the Birmingham/Bessemer area. My name is Chris Sears,
and I'm African Amemerican. I am looking for my grandfather whom I never seen/knew. His name is S. T. SEARS. Born in or around 1925 in Birmingham Alabama. My father never knew or seen him nor don't know if he is still alive. We have little information about my grandfather other than his age (19) of when he signed my father's birth certificate, name and that he left his baby (my father) and a wife in Marietta, Ga. just after my father was born, either 2 or 3 days, or 2 or 3 weeks after the birth.

Any information will do at this point. My father (Jimmie Sears) is now 62 which would make his father around 81 years of age. It would mean alot if the two had a chance to meet. If he is deceased then it would be great just to know my father's father side of the family if any.

This would really mean a lot....Thank You.
