I am researching my grandfathers family in Washington
County AL
They moved from GA to AL in the early 1900s and
settled in Vinegar Bend running a lumber mill.
Seaborn Bartow Jones was married to Eugenia Lee Bridges of Coweta County GA and they had the following
children: Seaborn Bartow II, Sam, Grady, Mabel, Fred,
Myrtle, Johnnie, Janie. I do know that Janie married
Shep Baxter and they ran a small grocery store that
also was the post office but I don't know any dates.
