When I first saw the census with Frances Ophelia having the last name Hogan, I wondered if she may have married. She was listed as, F.O. Jones on the previous census, and now, she is Frances Ophelia Hogan....(she could have married, and divorced....or widowed!) Now, John & Sarah Singleton....(could she have been married, and widowed or divorced, and now, married to John Singleton, with her son, Loper, by the previous marriage)? These are things that I have thought about, with no possible way to find an answer....unless come up with some more marriage certificates! Thank you for your help, and, now I am communicating with Wm Loper's
descendant from one of the two other women in his life. She may be able to shed some light on this family....
