I am the great grandson of William J. Loper, brother of Andrew Loper and son of Richard Loper and Jane Jail Warrick. I am trying to determine the date and cause of death of Richard Loper. His father's will lists Jane as his widow, and she subsequently remarried first to William D. Causey and then to Wiiliam Nash Worsham.

William J. Loper married Emma Elizabeth Mosley Saxon, and their son Joe William Loper was my grandfather. He married Gertrude Clyde Inez Johnson in Clifton, Bosque County, TX, moved to Port Arthur, TX, and they had one son, my father, Joe William Loper Jr. (now deceased). I grew up in San Antonio, TX and now live in Houston, TX.

Richard Loper's brother, Peter Henry Loper, Sr. has a living great grandson that share my same exact name. He is living in Chatom, AL, but does not have any further information on Richard’s cause or exact date of death.
