I'm seeking information on the family of William A. Callier or Collier and his wife Hattie who are living in Tuscaloosa in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 census years with children William A.Jr., James, and Louise. William is a druggist and Hattie is a school principal in 1930. I'm trying to find out who Hattie's parents are. I'm researching Hattie Porter who was the daughter of James and Louise Starke Porter. According to her death certificate Hattye Mae Porter was born May 30, 1883 in Kentucky to Rev. James Campbell Porter and Louise B. Starke Porter. She married William Alexander Collier Sept. 30, 1903 in Ocala, FL and died May 18, 1953 in Tuscaloosa, AL She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Tuscaloosa along with her husband.
