Need help locating information on any of the descendants of the following family:

JOHN WHITAKER was born in 1799 at GA (Source: 1850 Tallapoosa County Cenus, pg 98, Township 20, family 1424, enumerated 30 Dec 1850:John shown as head of household, age 51, born in GA.)

He married Nancy ??? before 1829. (Source: Speculated based on dob of first child)

He and Nancy resided between 1840 and 1842 at Tallapoosa County, AL. (Source: Deduction from places of birth of children listed on 1850 census)

NANCY ??? was born in 1798 at GA. (Source: 1850 Tallapoosa County Cenus, pg 98, Township 20, family 1424, enumerated 30 Dec 1850: Nancy shown as age 52, born in GA.)

Children of John WHITAKER and Nancy ??? (as shown on the 1850 Tallapoosa AL census) were as follows:
2 i. JAMES was born in 1829 at GA. (James is shown on 1850 Census of Tallapoosa Co, AL, separately. It is speculation that he may also be a child of John & Nancy WHITAKER.)
3 ii. BETSY ANN was born in 1830 at GA.
4 iii. THISSY was born in 1831 at GA.
5 iv. NATHAN was born in 1834 at GA.
6 v. DRUCILLA, born 5 May 1836 at GA; married Thomas J DAVIS.
7 vi. JOHN was born in 1840 at GA.
8 vii. ALEXANDER was born in 1842 at AL.
9 viii. WILLIAM was born in 1843 at AL.

John Whitaker is included in the 1840 Tallapoosa AL census, (Source: Some Pioneers of Tallapoosa County, Alabama, compiled by Sandra Scott Wilson, The Anundson Publishing Company, Decorah IA, 1991, page 18-19.)

In Tallapoosa County 1855 Census, transcribed by Mrs. Carolyn Price, published by The Genealogical Society of East Alabama, Inc., 1994, page 50, the following Whitakers are shown:

Whitaker, Jasper (Beat 2) 1 M under 21, 1 M over 21, 1F under 21,1F over 21
Whitaker, John (Beat 2) 3 M under 21, 1 M over 21, no F under 21, 2F over 21

I have also found John & Nancy on the 1860 Tallapoosa AL census, pag 94, Western District (Beat 2), Chanahatchy (?) P.O., enumerated 3 Aug 1860. At this time the family looks like this:

638/638 John Whitaker 62 M Farmer - 300 GA

Nancy 64 F do (ditto)

Thersby 28 F do

William A. 17 M Alabama

Percy EARLY 28 M Day labor - 100 GA

Luvina Early 27 F do

Thomas Early 8 M Alabama

Nancy Early 6 F do

Alexander Early 3 M do

Elijah Early ?/12 M do

Apparently Luvinia is a daughter of John & Nancy. The Early family as well as Drucilla & Thomas J. Davis moved to Mississippi (Webster County).

Jasper Whitaker, listed on the 1855 Tallapoosa County census may also have been a son of John and Nancy.

Am willing to share information.
