Mrs. Minnie C. Blalock, Friends and relatives of Mrs. Minnie C. Blalock of Talladega Springs were shocked and grieved at her sudden death which occurred Tuesday Sept., 21. Mrs. Blalock, who was seemingly in good health collapsed shortly after supper Tuesday, never regaining consciousness. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. W. Scott, assisted by Rev. George Herring. The Service Funeral Home was in charge. Surviving relatives are: her husband, Ben Blalock; a son Virgil Denton, Bessemer; brothers B. E., and E. C. Lee of Birmingham and eight grandchildren.
