James G. "Pete" Gosa
Pell City--Funeral services for James G. "Pete" Gosa, 81, were Saturday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. James Blair and the Rev. Willett Vess officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper.

Mr. Gosa died Tuesday, March 6, 2007.

He was a Veteran of WWII. Deacon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, member of Bass Masters. He loved his family, his church, his work, and his country. Most of all he loved the Lord. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Maudie L. Gosa.

He is survived by sons, James Jake (Patricia) Gosa and John S. (Martha) Gosa; daughter, Yvonne Gosa Proffitt; grandchildren, James Jake (Andrea) Gosa II, Jessica Lindsey Gosa (Ramsey) Musallam, and Ryan Patrick Gosa; great grandchildren, James Jake Gosa III and Gavrielle Marie Gosa.

Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
