Linda Wynn-Phipps was born April 8, 1950 in Shelby county Alabama, to William and Jeanie (Smelly) Wynn.

Linda relocated to Akron, Ohio in 1953, where she was raised by aunt and uncle, Lola and Carey Stallworth.
Linda attended Akron Public Schools. In 1959, Linda joined the Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by mothers, Jeanie Smelly,(Biological Mother) Lola B. Stallworth; ( adoptive mother) father, William Wynn Sr.; sisters, Ozell, Gladys, Ora Dee and Carrie.

Surviving are her are sons, Andre Sr. (Tywanna) Wynn, Donell O. Phipps (Akron, Ohio); siblings, William (Eddie Joe) Wynn, Sylvester (Hope) Wynn (Syracuse, N.Y.), Patricia Washington, (Alabama); grandchildren, Andre Jr., Ryan, Toni, Paetyn, Joshua, Khamryn and Brandyn (all of Akron, Ohio); special mother, Lillie Austin; mother-in-law, Delores Smith; uncle, E.O. (Lillie) Wynn (Alabama); several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2011, 1 p.m. at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 442 Bell Street, Akron, Ohio.
Calling hours Friday, one hour prior to service (12 noon). Pastor Jeffrey A. Dennis officiating. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 335 Turner Street, Akron, Ohio 44304.
