I am looking for information on my GGrand Father, William Wesley Falkner who was born in1847 and served in the Confederacy with the Eighth Confederate Calvery in the Civil War. His father was Arthur, brother to Wilson Falkner, who was at one time sheriff of Randolph Co. My GGFather Bill left Wedowee shortly after the war and with his father Arthur and family went to present Robertson County Texas where he died in 1910. Arthur died shortly after he arrived in Texas of wounds sustained in the war (according to family legend). He died in 1867 and is buried in the family plot in Camp Creek Cemetery near New Baden, Texas. Anyone who can expand on their knowledge of these relatives, I would be very grateful.
