Am searching for info on the old Center Point School near Wedowee. Some iinfo given me from family but no one seems to have any history on it. Was said to be 1 mile from from Mt Pleasant Church. Land owned by Mr. Holloway, Hollis Holloway being his son.Was a 2 room school with grades 1-3 & 4-6.
My dad went to that school and I do have an old school pic. He being born in 1911, he looked to be abt. 10 or 11.
Would appreciate anyone's help in finding more abt. this school and a possible picture. The picture I have no one has been identified. Thank you for any info possible.
