I am trying to find out who the parents of James Abner -Alnes Stone were. James was born 28 September 1827. He married Mary Helen Nance who was born 8 May 1827. James Abner-Alnes Stone died young in 1857 when he drown in Alabama River. I am interested in the Stone and the Nance
families who lived in Pickens County during this period of time 1820- 1860 in hopes someone may know of my James A Stone.and his wife Mary Helen Nance Stone and their descendants.
