I am trying to find the parents of Martha Griffin who was my gg grandmother. She first married Thomas Wherry 20 Jul 1845. He died in 1851 and she then married Samuel Tubb who was my gg grandfather on 5 Sep 1853. I just found that both these marriages were recorded in marriage books. If anyone in Perry Co. would look up these marriages and let me know if a parent/guardian for Martha was listed, I would greatly appreciate it. Griffin/Wherry in marriage book 1839-1851, page 1668.

I have Martha Griffin born in 1828 m. to Samuel Sanders Tubb but I do not have any information on her parents. I am related to both the Griffins and Tubbs in Perry County but she is a mystry. If you find out who her parents were, please post it here or contact me. Thanks, Lynda
