William Wesley>Henry Rufus Robert>Mamie descendant (Mamie's grandson) would like to know more about Taylor family ancestry and descendants. Only knowledge ends at William Wesley and only know Mamie's sister Alma's descendants. (Mamie and Alma married LaGrone brothers, Algie and Walter)

William Wesley Taylor was my great great great grandfather. I am descended from his daughter Martha Ann (Missouri) Taylor and her husband Stephen Silas Tadlock. Their daughter (my great grandmother) Mary Ellen (Mollie) Tadlock married Riley Columbus Stone son of William Riley Stone and Caty Carolina Dunkin. Some of William Riley's half-sisters (their mother was Mary Ann Dumkin) married into the Burt family. I have a good bit of info on the LaGrone/LeGrone, Talyor, Stone & Burt Families. I might have a website that would give you more info on William Wesley Taylor's parents but I would have to check. I am not sure about that though because I don't have hus parents in my database. Email me if you are interested.

Old thread...but is this the William Wesley Taylor who helped establish the Blalock Mexico Colony in Chamal, Tamps., Mexico? He was my great great grandfather and I'm trying to track our ancestry.

YES! Have struck out on all accords. My dad always talked about Grandma Burt, then I married a Burt. Maybe we weren't cousins, and my dad's first wife was a Stone.

The directions on Find A Grave are as follows:

Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church and Cemetery. Located 2 miles north on Perry County Road 2 off highway 183.

My gg grandfather, Wesley J Worrell is supposed to be buried there, too.
