Have you posed your questions to the Hendrix site? I am not related but my g-g grandfather married a Hendrix who died after one child. I am from the subsequent marriage. I am familiar with the Hendrix site but am not able to invite you to join. I do have a connection and will contact for you, if you desire.
From land records, we know that Peter Hendrix owned the northeastern portion of the present city of Monroeville. He sold the land where the 1st Baptist Church was constructed and, today, that property is a cemetery across the street from the present 1st Baptist Church. Peter Hendrix bought the NE1/4 (160 acres) of Section 25, Township 7N, Range 7E on May 05, 1819. He purchased additional lands, including the church property, at a later time but before 1832.
