Seeking information on Samuel J. Smith, born abt. 1837 in AL, died between 1889 & 1890 in Mobile, AL. He married Louisa (Baker?). Their children were:Ida A., Samuel J., Jr., & George H. Samuel, Sr. was a carpenter who lived on Springhill Avenue. It is possible Samuel was married prior to his marriage to Louisa, & Alice was the child of that marriage. Alice was born abt. 1864. Does anyone know the name of Samuel's first wife, the name of his parents & siblings?
