Does anyone know when the Old Poplar Springs Church located on AL 233 in Rock City was torn down? I found the old cemetery but no churhc building.

The church fell when one of the huricanes came through in 2007.. so we had the county to remove the debris...

Is Old Poplar Springs Church the same as Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church?????

I have relatives buried at Liberty Cemetery. Landmark is Poplar Springs Primitive Bpatist Church. Directions are from downtown Winfield take Hwy 78 east 5 miles and turn left onto County Road 72 go 2.2 miles and Liberty Cemetery is on the right.

My relatives buried there are Red Bill Eads and Mollie Eads and their twins (boy/girl). They live in or near Rock City, Marion County, Alabama.
