Melj Vick

Melj Vick, 96, of Thomasville died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Southwest Alabama Medical Center in Thomasville. Funeral services were held at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Dixons Mills on Saturday, May 20 at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Coker officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Ms. Vick was a native of Perry County and a former seamstress with H.A. Satin Company. She was a member of Wesley Chapel UMC.

Survivors include her sister, May Baggett of Selma; and two cousins, Juanita Mott of Wetumpka and Cordelia Bracknell of Selma.

Active pallbearers were Roger Davis, T.J. Kirkham, Jimmy Loper, Allen McManus, Charles Pope and Alvin Pritchett.

Funeral arrangements were directed by O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville.
