Mrs. Belva June Hill, age 66 of Linden died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2005 at Fairhaven Baptist Church. Dr. Allen Atkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitations will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Fairhaven Baptist Church.

Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis entrusted with all arrangements.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents, George Ralph Ogle and Edna Mae Ford Ogle, a granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Hammond and several sisters and brothers.

Survivors include a loving and caring husband of 49 years, James Ira Hill, Sr. of Linden, one son James "Jimmy" Ira Hill, Jr. of Linden, two daughters, Teresa (Quillie) Murray of Auburn & Sharon (Steve) Cox of Gallion, one sister, Noma Joyce (William J.) Smith of Clarksville, TN, three brothers, Jack Ogle of Carthage, MO, Fred (Linda) Ogle of Abilene, TX, Jerry (Susie) Ogle of Jasper, MO, nine grandchildren, April (Rick) Seymour, Erica (Jimmy) Acton, Dana Cox, James Steven "Jamey" Cox, Natasha Hill, Beverly Bridget Cox, Charlie Seymour, Matthew Allen Cox, Dylan Hill, six great grandchildren, Jacob Criswell, Michael Criswell, Amber Seymour, Clay Acton, and Austin Seymour.

Mrs. Hill was a native of Missouri and a resident of Linden for the past 49 years, where she owned and operated Belva's Flowers and Gifts before retiring due to her health.

Mrs. Hill was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church.
