My friend was given up for adoption by George Thomas Amos and wife Mamie Bethel Hargrove Amos (buried in Roselawn Cemetery, Decatur, AL). I am trying to locate any siblings that might be living- or nieces or nephews. His half brother Thomas Brentley Amos was sent to live with his grandpa Tecumpseh Amos and aunt Mary Amos in Taylor County, Georgia. He is shown with them in the 1940 census along with 2 cousins named Lillian Elizabeth and William C. Amos But the other children still lived with George and Mamie in 1940- Willie Mae (Shelton), Edward, Louis, H.J., Douglas, Franklin and Faye. We believe Faye may be Naomi Faye Amos Spain that owned a bar in Huntsville at one time. If anyone knows these people please contact me at Julie_oliver7@aol.com. This will mean so much to my friend!
