I am thrilled and would love to correspond. Fortunately, someone wrote a bigraphical sketch of the family which I found in my father's papers after he died. There is still so much I would like to know. Glen's father was Andrew Phillips born near Richmond,VA, 1752. He married Susan Glenn of whom little is known. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and served 5 years. After the war, he moved his family where Lexington,Kentucky now is and lived near Daniel Boone, participating in some of his battles. He remained there and in Overton Co.,Tenn. about 28 years. He then moved to Huntsville, Ala., about 1811 and died in 1820. There were 11 children: Glen, Elizabeth,Ben, Patsy, Betty, Lorney, Sarah, Nancy, Thomas, Lynn, and Susan.
I am looking for the children and have found Perlina, Albert and James. James was in the Black Hawk War.
I have more information and will share it with you. Let me know if anything specific. Emily
