James Hollis Foster and his wfe, Nancy Jane Alspaugh (widow of Arthur Lightfoot) are buried in the Foster Cemetery at New Market, Madison Co. His parents were James and Mary Pritchett Foster. I am trying to connect them to Anthony Foster who was in Madison County for an estate sale in 1816.
This Foster family seems to have lived on both sides of the state line in Madison co., and Franklin and Lincoln Co.,TN.
James Hollis and Nancy owned a farm in Madison Co. before they lost it in a claim set forth by heirs who claimed it had been sold before they reached a majority.
