My grandfather Hector Krksey, was called Mr. Kirksey, by everyone who knew him. He converted his home to the Green Acres Hotel in the early to mid 1960, He had also built a truck stop on the corner of a intersection that was enroute to Montgomery, Alabama. I remember the military stopping there at a Texaco gas sation that was next door to the Truck Stop, where my dad worked. Also the Civil Rights Movement march came down this road on it's way to Montgomery. My question is; is there any pictures that I might be able to get access to of any of these building's back then. The Hotel is long gone. I believe the Truck stop is still there it was in the early 1980's. Thanks for any help.
