I suspect: your "Hugh B. McCall" is son of Alexander McCall, Sr., born in Scotland. And Hugh B's brother is Alexander McCall, Jr., also born in Scotland. And Alexander Jr.'s son is Hugh McCall, born in North Carolina, and migrated to Dale County, Al. Hugh McCall of Dale County, Al is my great great grandfather. I am still trying to put all the pieces together, but have found the McCall's on the census records for Dale, Barbour, Lowndes, & Limestone Counties for Alabama. Please let me know if you have any information on your Hugh B. McCall's father, siblings, etc. I suspect they migrated to Alabama from North Carolina.
