I am a g granddaughter of Isaac and Winney (Hogan) Smith. He died about 1862 during the CW. He was reported to have died at Corinth of Measles?? Family never recieved anything but news through others. I would love to know something and just where he really died. I have not been able to get confirmation of which Isaac Smith was him. There were several Isaac Smiths. I believe his middle name was Samuel but am not sure of that. He is listed as Isaac in the 1850 Census in Giles Co., Tn. and in 1860 Census in Limestone Co., Al. I have info that he was in the 22nd Reg, Co. B. but you say he was in the 50th. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Marjorie at price9103@msn.com
