I have Charles Eakes married to Sarah (Sallie) Sherriff,
in Lincoln county TN on 9 Sep 1869. Their first 5 children
born there. I've found info on Sarah, but stuck on Charles.
Can you help?

Would like to check Limestone Couty records for the Eakes family. Trying to track family tree

I dont know if my family has ever lived in Limestone County for sure most of them live in Blount County now I have a Uncle Charles Eakes but he is married to Shelby Dovers
they had 4 children

I am also looking for Eakes and Flannagans in Limestone and Madison Co. My Grandmother was Lila Louise Eakes Born at Tanner in 1912. Ever heard of her?

My mother is frances lorine eakes (jones is her married) My grandfather was herman t eakes. we lived in madison county alabama and have family in the northeast counties. My grandfather was from a family of either 12 0r 13. They are all over south tennesse and north alabama. Possible relation , maybe?? My sisters mother in law is doing our family tree but has come to a stop for lack of information on the eakes side. don't know if this helps? good luck

I'm trying to find "Shiney" or Sine Eakes b. 1871 TN. She m. Mr. Hardiman abt 1897 or earlier- I think in Limestone Co. AL.could have been in Giles Co., TN. Their daughter was Lillie Mae and she was b. 1897 in TN. Mr. Hardiman d. bef. 1903. Sine then married Martin Solberg in 1902. 1910 Fed Cen. shows Sine in Hazel Green, AL (sheet 9B line 63). Listed as Sine Solberg and mother of :Lillie Hardiman,and Stella, Oscar, Albert,Rolly Solberg.

EAKES/ Hardiman line eventually marries up with the WHITT family in Ardmore, Limestone, AL. That combined family marries into the HUTTO family.
Also- family story (legend) says there is native american (poss. Seminole) on this side. Do you know anything about this?

Sine Eakes b. 1871 TN marries Mr. ? Hardiman and has Lillie Mae- 1897 in TN. (Granddaughter recalls her gmother being called "Shinie.)
Lillie Mae (Eakes) Hardiman marries Willie Edd WHITT bef. 1923. They have 8 children, all born AL.
Marlene Faye "Faye" b. abt. 1923 m. Mr. Pendergrass
Marvin "Brother" b. abt. 1925
Marlas (Male) b. abt. 1927
Willie Edd (Junior" ) b, abt. 1929
Virginia b. 1931 m. Mr. Jennings
Annie Bell "Bell"b. abt. 1933 m. Mr. Travis
Bertha Jean b. 1939 d. 1957 m. Mr. Hutto
Frances b. abt. 1941 m. Mr. Campbell
Dates of birth of these children are the recollection of Virginia b. 1931
I'd appreciate any info you may have on this family. It's a puzzle.

I have Sina as my G-Great grandfather Willie T Eakes sister. Their father was Charles and his father was Timomthy Simpson Eakes. They lived in Licoln Co. TN and Limestone and Madison Co. AL. I have her married to a Boyette and then a Solburg.
