My 2nd great-grandmother Catherine "Katy" F West married John O Gray in Lamar County in 1879. She was born in 1864/65 somewhere in Alabama. This marriage is the earliest record I can find on her. I wish I had a time machine. I would go back to 1879 and ask her where she came from.
