County line changes for Greene/Pickens counties?

I read the following on the usgenweb Green Co., AL site:
"Mantua was part of Pickens County in the 1840’s when residents of six and one-half townships petitioned the State Legislature to become part of Greene County."
Which townships became part of Greene County? And did any of Greene County townships become part of Pickens at some point?
My ancestors purchased land in T24 (now considered part of Greene) but were residents of Pickens in the land patent documents. Two of them appear in the 1830 and 1840 Pickens census, but another appears later in the Greene Co. census though he is living on the same land (T24, S33).
Any help is appreciated.
