Ralph Wilson Bragwell, age 94, of Phil Campbell, passed away Monday, April 8, 2002, at Russellville Hospital.

Mr. Bragwell was born in Belgreen on June 26, 1907, the son of the late Jim and Bertha Hargett Bragwell. He was a retired builder and cattleman, and he was a member and deacon at the First Baptist Church of Phil Campbell. He was also a Mason. Mr. Bragwell was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Bragwell and Roaf H. Bragwell.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Beasley officiating. Interment was in Phil Campbell Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wallace Bragwell, Curtis Bragwell, Billy Joe Bragwell, Jim Borum, George Hargett, and Clyde Hargett. Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Phil Campbell were honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Bragwell is survived by his wife, Eugenia Rice Bragwell; a brother, Jack Bragwell; two nephews, Billy Joe Bragwell and Tommy Bragwell; a niece, Patricia Sharp; and other relatives.
