I'm looking for any information on the Garrett Families of Russelville Alabama. My Fathers name is Eurshel Garrett. He was born in Russelville in 1916. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ellis Amon Garrett is the brother of Sophia

Their parents were Amon Garrett and Callie Robinson

Sophia, Amon, and Callie are buried in the KP Cemetery

Do you have William and Matilda Garrett in your tree? They lived in Russelville AL in 1910 and I am told William died before 1920. The children of this couple are: Colbert, Betty, Wiliam, Isabell, Lucinda Marzella, Paris and Mary.

Hey Sharen,
Yes, there is a William in my line, he's Amon Garrett's older brother but I don't know who he married. My info on them is kind of thin. If this is your William, his parents were Joseph and Samantha Garrett. Amon is buried at K.P. Cemetery and there is a Colbert Garrett buried there also. Marshall was the brother to Amon and Sophia. I have little on Sophia but my Grandmother remembers alot. What questions do you have?

oh my goodness, I didn't know he had a second wife. Yes, please ask her who did his children marry and anything she could tell me about any of them would be so greatly appreciated. Oh and also his brothers and sisters, who did they marry and what became of them. Marshall Garrett (Amon's oldest son) is my great grandpa. I don't know much about him either. Oh thats right Marshall did have a little brother named Amon. This is great! Where do I start? Does she have any pictures of any of them? I've never even seen any of them, my dad either. I would love to know anything and everything she could tell me about both of them, Amon and Callie. and all the kids. Did she hear any stories about Marshall? Oh, Thank You for this wonderful help. You have no idea what this means to me and my family. Marshall passed away when my grandma was real young so she didn't get to know her dad.
