Looking for info on William, born abt. 1815 Tennessee, later was a lawyer, then probate judge in Fayette County 1856-59 when he died of a sudden illness. Married Martha Fowler and had William A., Henry N. and Newton T. Harvey between 1837-1842. Wife Martha died in 1842. He remarried a Martha Marchbanks in 1855 and had daughter Priscilla. Can't find him on 1850 Census of Fayette County, Alabama, even though he was married there and was a postmaster there in 1851. Can't find anything about his burial location, nor his 1st wife's. I would have thought there would be an obit about a judge dying while in office, but haven't found anything. Would appreciate any information.
