Looking for info on any of these families. This is what I have so far from speaking with my cousin in Etowah. Originally, family came from Perry County and migrated to Etowah. Some probably stayed in Perry too!.

My grandmother was Hattie Lewis, born @1908-1912 in Perry or Etowah and died in Pittsburgh, PA 1950. Hattie married Ike (Isaac) Underwood born 1908, guess Perry County, have't found a marriage date yet, but Ike died in 1965 in Pittsburgh.Their children are Hurd, Julia, Cathy, Mary, Isaac, Robert.

The info I have on my ggrandmother was that her name Hattie Moore, married Willie Lewis, don't have marriage date. Their children as far as I know were Hattie (my grandma), Juliette, Mary, (who also moved to Pittsburgh), and uncle Willie Jean.
(Someone found in the 1910 census a young couple with no children yet a Will Lewis, 31 and wife Mary 23) wife's name might be wrong, from oral info I received. Need 1920 census lookup for this family, Perry or Etowah Counties.

From cousin, ggggrandmother's name was Lucy Moore, mother of Hattie or Mary above. Since both of these names were eventually names of descendants both could possibly fit.

These are guesses about dates of birth. My grandma, Hattie Lewis Underwood - 1912-1950. I'm subtracting 20 years for subsequent maternal lines since I don't have any exact dates. Hattie Moore Lewis - ?1892-19??

Lucy Moore, 1872?-19?

In the 1866 Colored Census, Perry Co., AL, I did find a Lucy Moore, and quite a few Moore's listed, does anyone know anything about these Moore's?

Haven't been able to find a lot of census info 1870 and later for Perry County, nor hardly any at all for Etowah County. Any help is appreciated. Tried to get Library access to Gadsden Public Library, but wasn't successful, and I didn't see anything that was online from the library for those that don't live in Gadsden.
