I have Nelson's in Alabama City , Etowah County & one Cochran I know of so far

Heres some info:
Husband's name unknown
Nancy(Maiden name unknown) Nelson was born approx 1857-1865.

Census shows she had 2 children die before 1910. Then in 1910
children & household were:
Wiley 19 son
Rose 18 daughter
Mack 22 son- aka- Allen Mack Nelson
Texas 22 (d-in-law Mack's wife) aka Mary Ann Cochran her mother was suppose to be indian from Texas so Mary wasnt named until later.)

next door (1910) there was a child listed as Grandchild in Throughtwill (unreadable) family household named:

Then....
I know Ruth lived in Georgia, married & had children.
I never met her , although my father went to her funeral before he died and talked foundly of her :-)
Edward at one time was working at Quantico Marine Corps base as an MP. My Grandmother Teresa Scalise worked at the Pentagon. The met and married & lived in Bethesda, Maryland, they had 3 children.

I am Robert's (Bob's) daughter. :-)

My father was named after his father's brother's Robert & Lee who died fairly early in life.
We were told Lee (Lee Mitchell) was murdered while trying to help an african american family.
I have not YET obtained a death certifcate on him. But he is not listed on 1930 census.
Robert (brother of Mack) also died early but Im unsure how.
I do not know what happened to Mack Jr., where he ended up or who he married.
My Aunt told me she remembers as a child visiting relatives from an Indian reservation in Georgia.
Ruth's children live in Georgia also but I do not know them. :-(
