I think the Escambia County searchers are about the most dedicated of any site that I check out.

I was just going through the posted cemetery listings again last night and wondered if I should send for a death certificate for Alice Maddox Still to check on her parents. Maybe I will, unless someone else already knows. - and then your response came in - it is like ESP.

The family notes that have been handed down to me - nothing in the line of actual documentation - mention that "Willis Mayo m. Laurel,,their daughter Mary Mayo married John Still. They had 6 (?) children.. in descending order;
1). Lizzy Crawford
2). Laura King married a man named Irvin
3). Kate married a man named Jesse
4). Philip
5). Lillian
6). Elinor Beatrice Still
(this was fuzzy.. Jesse and Ivin could have been Stills and not husbands)"

These were notes from a family interview of a member now dead, so I can.t go back and clarify anything.
